What is Facial fitness?

Facial Fitness is an intensive, and effective workout for your face! Using rapid movements through massage such as Petrissage, Effleurage, and Tapotement.

What are these massage movements, and how do they work?

Effluerage: a French word meaning “to skim”, or “to touch lightly on”, is a series of massage strokes used to warm up the muscle before Petrissage.

Petrissage: Performed with the padded palmar surface of the hand, these are massage movements utilizing applied pressure which are deep and compress the underlying muscles.

Tapoment: Using rhythmic percussion, it is used through various different movements to help wake up the and stimulate the skin.

What does Facial Fitness do?

Facial fitness will help lift and firm muscles, collagens, and stimulate cells. It helps with collagen production.

Microcurrent

What is Microcurrent?

A clinically tested therapy treatment used in top spas and medical offices for facial contouring, toning and firming of aging skin. It is a low-level current which mimics the body’s natural current and can help provide anti-aging results.

How does it work?

Microcurrent sends soft, gentle waves through the skin, stimulating the tissues and facial muscles. It is known for stimulating Adenosine trisphosphate production, or ATP. ATP drives the creation of structural proteins, such as collagen and elastin. Increased ATP energizes the facial muscles, just like exercise energizes the muscles of our body..

Chelsea is a licensed Medical Aesthetician with over 5 years of experience and a background in transdermal organic facial treatments with ultrasound, ultrasonic, radiofrequency, and high-frequency modalities. She is passionate about a holistic approach and building a personalized treatment plan for each of her clients to provide the best results. She loves working with problematic skin conditions, primarily acne-prone skin with a focus on teenage and adult acne, pigmentation, scarring, anti-aging, and sensitive skin. She loves the journey and guiding her clients to reach their skin goals!

Shaye Marie

Medical Aesthetician

Shaye has been a licensed Aesthetician since 2018 and graduated from the Salon Professional Academy. Shaye enjoys furthering her education and enhancing her techniques and knowledge. Most recently, Shaye attended the International Dermal Institute which provides a world-renowned and rigorous post-graduate skin care curriculum, where she graduated as an expert. Shaye is excited about being able to educate her clients and give them the best results in attaining their skin care goals!

Paige has been a licensed aesthetician since March of 2019 when she graduated from Douglas J. Aveda Institute of Royal Oak. Paige knew she wanted to work in the beauty industry at a young age and she is driven towards making every client feel confident in their own skin. She is passionately working towards learning new things and expanding her knowledge within the industry. Paige provides traditional spa services like full facial/body waxing, lashes, organic facials. She also provides medical-grade skincare treatments like sugaring, lash lift/tint, PCA & Skin Medica Chemical Peels, SkinPen Microneedling, Hydrafacials, Oxygeneo, Diamond Glow, and Dermaplaning.
