We have felt the unwavering support of our neighboring local businesses and the Grand Rapids, Northville, and Rockford communities over the last 6 years. We want to share how we’re giving back so you can, too!

GRMoMs Sequins & Suits Annual Gala

What: Grand Rapids Moms of Multiples (GRMoMs) is hosting a fun night full of dinner, dancing, cocktails, a photo booth, selfie stations, and of course, a silent auction full of baskets, gift cards, and donations from local sponsors. Proceeds benefit the Grand Rapids Mother’s of Multiples - an organization that supports mothers and families of twins, triplets and quadruplets. A portion of the Silent Auction proceeds are donated to a local charity. That charity is Ronald McDonald House of West Michigan for the 2024 event. Urban You has donated a Pamper Party gift certificate, purchase a ticket for a chance to win complimentary services at Michigan’s Best Med Spa!

VAI Gold Outing Silent Auction

What: Van Andel Institute is hosting their 16th annual charity golf outing. This year, proceeds from the event will benefit biomedical research and K–12 and graduate education at VAI. This year’s agenda is complete with a Scrabble tournament, lunch, dinner, and silent auction, supposed by Urban You.

When: September 18th, 2023. 8:30am - 6:30pm

HOPE Fashion for a Future

What: HOPE For Single Moms is on a mission to ensure children in single mom families thrive. Their program is for single parents who are full-time students in college or trade school. HOPE’s goal is to help these parents and their young children develop the educational and family life skills needed to achieve financial self-sufficiency. They’re hosting their annual Fashion for a Future show, featuring local designers and celebrity models including retired Detroit Tigers pitcher Dave Rozema and community advocate Ashley Soto. Urban You proudly serves as a Silver Sponsor!

MomsBloom Mommy’s Day Out

What: MomsBloom is a nonprofit organization on a mission to connect families with newborns to passionate community members who provide quality, hands-on postpartum support. Their organization brings families and volunteers together to provide hands-on and emotional support in Kent and Ottawa County. MomsBloom and Urban You alike know how exhausted and overwhelmed parents can feel after the birth of a baby. We’re partnering with MomsBloom to offer a “Mommy’s Day Out” to a mom in need, complete with a facial and brow service, monthly for the next 12 months. As a woman-led company with many mothers on our staff, we felt drawn to MomsBloom and their mission.
